Book Blogger Hop - Happy Weekend

This meme sponsored by Crazy for Books is one that I have been following for sometime now and I thought it would be fun to join. Apart from getting to know several new bloggers and reading about stuff I had never even heard of before it is also very important because it is taking me completely out of my comfort zone and not allowing me to get into a rut over my reading patterns!

This week's question comes from Jessica who blogs at a GREAT Read:
"What book(s) would you like to see turned into a movie?"

My answer would be Still Missing by Chevy Stevens.

I read and reviewed this book some time ago. I was amazed at the survival instincts of the human being. The story alone is a simple abduction and rape and imprisonment. But how Annie survives and her resourcefulness and ability not to give in to her helpless state forms the crux of this story for me.

Please do visit other lists in the Linky list. Have fun blog hopping and I do hope all of you find new friends.

Have a good weekend everyone.

It sounds like that could make an intense, compelling movie!

Thanks for mentioning this book. I'd come across the blurb for this book last year and really thought the story was interesting, but couldn't recall the title afterwards so I could buy it!

Here's my Book Blogger Hop post!

I agree with you - this would make a great movie!

I recently read an amazing book called The Distant Land of My Father and it too I think would translate well into movie format!

Welcome to the hop and thanks for stopping by my blog!

Wow! Sounds like an amazing book and it would make a good movie. I think books like this are always good because it gives people hope if they've been through a similar situation.

who do you see as playing the leads??

This seems to be a hard to the point read but I imagine the movie would be like racing through the halls of despair to find the light at the end of the tunnel. It would have to be an incredibly gifted girl to play this one.

Mystica, honestly, I don't think I would enjoy this type of movie. Not my kind of book. But I appreciate your review of it.

Two books I'd love to see turned into movies;
