Mailbox Monday/'It's Monday! What are you reading?

Mailbox was light. Just one Elizabeth Bowen. Not the one recommended by one of the blogs but the same author, courtesy of Open Library

Hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

Reading this one. A quizzical look at marriage. Three women married men twenty years older than them. The repercussions much later!

The rains have started in earnest now. Love them though they have caused devastation in some parts of the country.

  1. Mystica, I didn't know it rained this late in the year in Sri Lanka. I'm currently reading GRAY MOUNTAIN, the latest offering by John Grisham, and so far it's good.

  8. Elizabeth Bowen seems to be a blogger fav -- she always shows up in TBRs or current read lists -- and I've got a few of her books on my own TBR. Hope you enjoy!

  9. Difficult Husbands is interesting. I know a few women who are married to men considerably older than themselves.

  11. I love the rain too, but, yes, they can be quite devastating at the same time. I am sorry for those in your country impacted.

Difficult Husbands sound like it will be an interesting read. My husband and I are three months apart. I imagine a couple with twenty years in between them would have some interesting issues arise--given their different generations.
