Mailbox was light. Just one Elizabeth Bowen. Not the one recommended by one of the blogs but the same author, courtesy of Open Library

Reading this one. A quizzical look at marriage. Three women married men twenty years older than them. The repercussions much later!
The rains have started in earnest now. Love them though they have caused devastation in some parts of the country.
Mystica, I didn't know it rained this late in the year in Sri Lanka. I'm currently reading GRAY MOUNTAIN, the latest offering by John Grisham, and so far it's good.ReplyDelete
What a pretty cover on Friends and Relations! Enjoy!ReplyDelete
Even though it's not one of the blogger recommended books by Elizabeth Bowen, I hope you enjoy it.ReplyDelete
I have Difficult Husbands waiting for me to review. It looks good. Have a great week!ReplyDelete
It might not be the one recommended but it sure does look good. I hope you love it!ReplyDelete
I hope you enjoy your books. Difficult Husbands looks interesting.ReplyDelete
I'm reading Elizabeth Bowen now, too. Enjoy!ReplyDelete
Enjoy your readsReplyDelete
Elizabeth Bowen seems to be a blogger fav -- she always shows up in TBRs or current read lists -- and I've got a few of her books on my own TBR. Hope you enjoy!ReplyDelete
Difficult Husbands is interesting. I know a few women who are married to men considerably older than themselves.ReplyDelete
My mailbox was empty, but I like it sometimes.
Have a great reading week.
I love the cover on Friends and Relations.
My Mailbox Monday
I love the rain too, but, yes, they can be quite devastating at the same time. I am sorry for those in your country impacted.ReplyDelete
Difficult Husbands sound like it will be an interesting read. My husband and I are three months apart. I imagine a couple with twenty years in between them would have some interesting issues arise--given their different generations.
I hope the rain damage does not spread, stay safe!ReplyDelete

I'm curious about Difficult Husbands.ReplyDelete
Hope you are keeping warm and dry from the rains.
