These three from Netgalley.
These three came from Edelweiss.
I do so like the mix of reads I got this week.
In the middle of The American Lady. It was a bit slow to begin with but mid way it gets rather interesting so I am glad I persevered.
On a weather note, still extremely hot weather - by 11 am its stifling. If I do go out I think I will get sunstroke it is so hot. Just waiting for this to break.
I've seen The Pocket Wife mentioned below, I'm interested to see what you think.
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week,

Oh yes a nice mix of books. Love the cover of The Lake Season, heading to Goodreads to check it out. Stay cool and happy reading :)
ReplyDeleteMystica, you read some very interesting books, as reflected from their covers. I'm currently reading a collection of short stories by P.G. Wodehouse, one of my favourite authors. He lightens an hour as few authors do.
ReplyDeleteYou always manage to get some wonderful, new to me eGalleys. Hope you enjoy these.
ReplyDeleteSending our snow your way to cool things off :)
You got a great mix of books! I'm very curious about The Pocket Wife.
ReplyDeleteAdd me to those wondering about THE POCKET WIFE. Nice bunch of books. My part of the world, Texas, is not having anything like what others are having. However, while I've been sitting here this morning the outside temps have dropped from 63 F to 36 F. We definitely got a cold front.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you have a great mix of books! I have The Pocket Wife in my mix as well and can't wait to read it. I'm very curious about it.
ReplyDeleteGreat books" Enjoy
ReplyDeleteLiking that Sussex Downs selection! and Secrets of the Tower - great lineup and variety - EnJoy!
ReplyDeleteHere's my MONDAY READING
