Mailbox Monday. Just one book. Unusual title - The Marriage Hearse.
My posts till I get to Colombo are going to be brief. I don't think my copy and paste is going to work here and on my iPad.
The other meme I follow hosted by Sheila at Book Journey - the image is not coming up at all. My posts are going to be rather flat without these images.
Reading The Guest Cottage by Nancy Thayer. Courtesy of Edelweiss.
Will try to be more descriptive in future posts!
Mystica, I'm (re)reading "No Orchids for is Blandish" by James Hadley Chase as part of own "First Novels" challenge. It's interesting to read the first novels of various authors across genres.
ReplyDeleteWhat an unusual title , curious though!
ReplyDeleteiPads are fine for commenting but horrible to try and do a post with in my opinion.
Enjoy your time away.
That is a strange title! I just can't seem to use my iPad for blogging... good luck.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books.
ReplyDeleteHope you settle in quickly. The Guest Cottage is one I want to read, hope you enjoy it.

ReplyDeleteAn unusual title for sure!
ReplyDeleteThat is an odd title but it makes me very curious about the book.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy your book this week and get settled in soon!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I'm envious of you reading The Guest Cottage. That one is on my list...I love the author!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog, and have a great week!
The Marriage Hearse- sounds intriguing! Have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteI don't like the ipad for posting either, but they are good for commenting, most of the time. The Marriage Hearse sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteHi Mystica,
ReplyDeleteI am assuming you are referring to 'The Marriage Hearse' by Kate Ellis and not any other book of the same name, of which there are a couple!
I have seen Kate's books around, but have never really checked any of them out, so I was pleasantly surprised by the premise, despite this being the 10th book in a series.
I am adding it to my 'Want To Read' list, although I might see if I can lay my hands on a copy of the first book, just in case they don't work so well as stand alone's.
Have a great trip and try not to get too annoyed with the ipad :)
Yvonne.
For 2 weeks I only had the iPad. No graphics and only short posts. It's amazing how much we rely on our technology.
ReplyDeleteNancy Thayer's books always look so good. This is one I want to add to my list.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I don't like posting on my iPad either.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,
