The following books were received by me this week.
These are courtesy of Netgalley.
This came from Blogging for Books.
This one was from Edelweiss (from their download section).
Together and Apart by Margaret Kennedy was from Open Library and a recommendation by Cosy Books. I took the fanciest image I could find!
Reading several books at the same time.
The Wharf of Chartrons - finding it a bit slow in the middle though the subject is very intriguing. All about wine growing with of course feuds and under cutting which I did not know applied to this industry!
Also started Family by Caroline Leavitt.
Despite being rather busy I have surprisingly been able to read quite a bit.
They all look lovely! Hope you continue to get lots read this week :)
ReplyDeleteHi Mystica,
ReplyDeleteA great and diverse selection of books for you this week.
All sound good in their own way, however if I had to choose my personal favourite synopsis and one to add to my own 'Want To Read' list, it would have to be 'The Missing One' by Lucy Atkins. I do love a good psychological suspense story!
Also, this is the first time I have come across Edelwiess, so I am off to find out a bit more about them.
Thanks for sharing and have a good week,
Yvonne
I saw The Dress Shop of Dreams on NetGalley too, but I need to start resisting downloading books. Not enough hours in the day to read all that I want to. Enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you received a nice assortment of books this week. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about The Dress Shop of Dreams. Enjoy all of your new books.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I want The Dress Shop of Dreams just because I love the cover!! The Missing One sounds good too, family secrets and psychological drama appeals to me.

Missing one looks good.
ReplyDeleteMystica, you've got some great books there. I'm currently reading "The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner" by Alan Sillitoe. I used to read his books many years ago.
ReplyDeleteOhh I have read Van Praag and she was great
ReplyDeleteGreat selection! I like the cover of the dress shop of dreams. I'm reading the Phantom of Fifth Avenue by Meryl Gordon currently and also listening to two audiobooks :-)
ReplyDeleteVery nice mailbox.
ReplyDeleteA lot of different genres.
The Missing One is really catching my eye. The title and the cover are very alluring.
I hope the book is good.
Enjoy all your books, and have a great week.
