Mailbox Monday/It's Monday! What are you reading?

Good things in my Mailbox!

Hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

Read two books over the week end (reviews due). Reading one which is an absolutely new genre for me. I picked it because of the title but did not know it was about vampires and the like!!!! three quarters of the way through.

Late to the meme as just returned to Colombo after a very circuitous tour!

  1. Mystica, the first and the last book look interesting and I look forward to reading your reviews. I'm currently reading a couple of horror novels by H.P. Lovecroft.

  8. Hi Mystica,

All of your authors this week are new to me.

I love the cover art of 'A Distant Dream', but was a bit put off when I read that it was part of a trilogy, as it sounds as though the saga needs to be read all together and in sequence, to get the best from it.

'The Wharf Of Chartrons' sounds worth reading, how can anything to do with a good glass of wine be a bad idea?

However I couldn't make a decision about 'The Lazarus Prophecy', as I couldn't find out anything about the premise on any of the usual sites. I guess this one is staying a well kept secret until publication!

    An interesting selection, enjoy!

    Yvonne.

  13. I like vampire books but it's normally the 'hot' vampire variety. A Beast in Venice doesn't quite look like it fits the bill lol. I'll wait for your review. Enjoy your reads!
