Mailbox Monday/It's Monday - What are you Reading?

Mailbox Monday is hosted this month by Diary of an Eccentric.

Hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

The books received this week are the balance loot from my friend.

V S Naipaul's Magic Seeds - a classic

Described as a class act!

Another best seller!

Shortlisted for the 1999 Booker Prize. Seen this on several blogs this week

Described as a most evocative writer.

The century's most explosively hilarious novel of far-out sexuality.  Looking forward to this one.

Have a good week.

  2. Fine collection of books this Monday and last, Mystica, especially Naipaul, Marquez, Fowles and Vidal. Read them years ago though not all the titles. I do want to read BOMBAY TIME by Thrity Umrigar, though.

I'll be interesting to see what you think of the Naipaul book as I just read A Bend In The River.

  15. My husband read The Golden Age years ago and just the other day I saw it on a book shelf and wondered if I needed to bring it up and add it to my "need to read soon" books. Still may have to do that!
