Fine collection of books this Monday and last, Mystica, especially Naipaul, Marquez, Fowles and Vidal. Read them years ago though not all the titles. I do want to read BOMBAY TIME by Thrity Umrigar, though.
ReplyDeleteYou received some nice books last week. I like the sound of Magic Seeds. Enjoy

Nice group of books this week. I've had Love in the Time of Cholera on my shelf for a few years now and still need to read it.
ReplyDeleteNice selection of books...Happy reading
ReplyDeleteThe Map of Love is a very good book, I read it pre-blogging and really enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteI'll be interesting to see what you think of the Naipaul book as I just read A Bend In The River.
Great friends give books to their friends! Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter convinced me that she needed her own library card. Please come see what I'm reading.
I have a book by John Fowles around here somewhere I think--The French Lieutenant's Woman? I obviously haven't read it yet. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteMy husband read The Golden Age years ago and just the other day I saw it on a book shelf and wondered if I needed to bring it up and add it to my "need to read soon" books. Still may have to do that!
ReplyDeleteHope you have better luck with Love in the Time of Cholera. I just couldn't get into that book, but I think I'm in the minority. Happy reading!
