A win of mine came through this week Oleanna courtesy of Peeking Between the Pages. Thank you Darlene.

Just finished another Elizabeth George.
This was a cracker! Review to follow.
I have several more Elizabeth George and P D James books on hand but think I should change the genre now! the reviews may get monotonous for those who do not want to read only about murder and mystery.
On a pleasanter note, the rains are here. I know I can get boring going on about the weather but when you are hot as we are here, the rains are most welcome. I only hope they are here to stay. On another book note, I am hoping to leave for Melbourne this week. Taking my TBR list with me. That follows me wherever I go.
I'm glad the rain has arrived to give you a break from the heat! Hope you have a pleasant trip to Australia :)
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for the rains too since the day temp has been pushing 40-degree C with humidity in excess of 80%. The monsoon is expected to hit the Kerala coast later this month, so we'll have to wait awhile before it gets to Mumbai. Commuting by suburban train during peak hours can be nightmare, though.
ReplyDeleteI think you should read and review whatever you like!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your return to Melbourne - I am sure it will be cold there - it is here.

Glad you're enjoying the rain. Rain goes with mysteries :)
ReplyDeleteHurray for the rain! Enjoy your new book!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I love rainy days just so I can sit and read. Sunny days make me want to go out biking! Enjoy your reading week.
ReplyDeleteI am such a baby about heat - enjoy your rains and the relief they provide. :)
ReplyDeleteI can never get enough of murder and mystery and their puzzles, but it's also good to include other genres, I agree.
ReplyDeleteNice win!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy! your win.

I have an Elizabeth George book on my shelf - my grandmother-in-law reads her all the time and loves her books. Hopefully I will get to the book soon.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, enjoy all the rain, and thanks for stopping by my blog!
